Ronald Lehman Jr. Obituary

On November 14, 2022, Ronald D Lehman Jr went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Ron was born on October 16, 1955, to Ronald & Audrey Lehman Sr.  Ron lived his whole life as a caring and giving man.  At age 11, he joined Kenmore Boy Scout Troop #210 where he remained active and passionate until his passing.  As a youth, Ron achieved the highest rank of Eagle Scout in addition to the three Palms. He was also awarded the Medal of Merit and The Raymond C Firestone Award.  As an adult, Ron completed his Wood Badge Training and received one of the highest honors as an adult, the Silver Beaver Award.  Ron’s passion for scouting was shown during his 56 years involvement in the scouts.

Ron was also a member of the Masons for 46 years at New Franklin F.& A.M as past master and he also received many honors including the Masonic Scouters Award.  And another passion was working as a Park Manager at the Summit Metro Parks for 26 years. He worked at Furnace Run, Cascade Valley, and Munroe Falls Parks where he shared his expertise and made friends that he stayed in touch with for the rest of his life.  At one time he raced trotters at Northfield Park and in Florida.  He also owned a baseball card shop at Magic City Plaza and was a devoted Ohio State fan.  Ron had such a passion for life, family, and friends no matter what life threw at him he always came back stronger.  He would meet a stranger and part as friends. He had many close friends since childhood.  He touched so many lives and he will always be remembered.

Ron is preceded by his parents Ron & Audrey Lehman Sr and sister Sheri Marcum.  He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Iva Lehman, children Sarah (Max) Pry, Dean Lehman and Adam Lehman, grandchildren Carter & Luke, many nieces and nephews, and special family members Kay, Sonja & Kathy Wharton.
