Lavonne Park Obituary

Lavonne J. (Heater) Park "Jean", "Aunt Jeanie" Jean Park, 78, passed away Wed., January 7, 2015 at Barberton Manor Care where she resided. Jean was born July 16, 1936 to parents Idera (Lance) and Blaine H. Heater in Clarks-burg, W.Va. She retired from Fed-Ex as an administrative assistant. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Loretta Heater; brothers, Max and Don Heater; and her beloved son, Bernard Blaine Park. She is survived by nephew, Blaine Heater; grandchildren, Brittany Park and Bernard A. Park; extended family and friends. Jeanie loved life and serving her Lord. She was a warm and loving lady who found good in everyone and made you a better person for having known her. Laughter was the key to helping her get through many trials and tribulations. Calling hours will be at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Monday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Stevens officiating. Jean requested memorials be given to the Stark County MRDD.
