Larry Richard Luzader

Larry R Luzader 73, of Green, OH passed away on January 18, 2023. Larry was born on August 21, 1949, to Harry and Ida Luzader in Barberton, OH.  After graduating from Kenmore High School in 1968, Larry went on to drive trucks for Lawson’s for 25 years and then for Yellow Freight.  He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.  In 1976 Larry met Paula Bunn and the rest is history.  They were true partners in crime and destined soulmates. In 1999, Larry “retired” from Yellow and spent his time working at the Green Family YMCA as the maintenance director and then as a bus driver for Green Local Schools.

Larry is preceded by his loving wife Paula Luzader, his parents Harry and Ida Luzader and sister Susan Kirkland.  He is survived by his sisters Nancy Barker (Ron), Karen Holloway (Douglas) and brother Michael Luzader (Michelle), his children Jodie Sherman and Travis Luzader, his grandchildren Shelby Luzader, Brandon Luzader and Kaman Luzader, great-grandson Okin Luzader Tomlins and many nieces and nephews.

Larry will be deeply missed for his generosity, his unending knowledge in his ability to fix anything and his quirky loving sarcastic sense of humor.

Services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Saturday at 4:00 pm officiated by Rev. Rob Burdette.  The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm. Donations, if desired may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
