Harry "Bill" Ruggles

Harry William “Bill” Ruggles III passed away on September 6, 2023. He was born in Akron, OH on November 11, 1940. He graduated from Zion Lutheran Elementary School and Hower Vocational High School. He was in the B & W Apprenticeship Drafting Program and was a design draftsman for over 25 years. Bill worked for The Blair House Condominium Association from 1982 to 2013. He served his country in the U.S. Army as an illustrator and was honorably discharged in 1969. Bill loved all sports and music.

Bill is preceded by his parents Harry and Marie.  He is survived by his sister Margaret (John) Baxley, brothers Fred (Louise), Walter (Debbie), Richard (Barbara), John, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 12:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Andy Alberts, followed by burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
