Dakari Marcellous Finley

Dakari Marcellous Finley, a precious baby boy of only three weeks passed away on June 3, 2023. Dakari was a cherished addition to the family. While typically serene and calm, Dakari would assertively communicate his needs when necessary. His emerald green eyes were a source of delight for his devoted father, while his mother lovingly referred to him as her little baby doll. Dakari's siblings cherished his presence, always showering him with adoration. His big brother nicknamed him Black Adam because he knew was going to be big and strong.

Dakari leaves behind a void that will be deeply felt by his grieving parents, Michelle and Derell Finley, along with his beloved siblings: Dzon, Zy'lona, Zemirah, Derell Jr., Zada, and Zy’Leah. He will be missed by his caring grandparents, Charmaine and Joseph Woods, John Finley IV, and Melisa Sines. Additionally, he leaves behind aunts and uncles who held a special place in his heart: Brandon and Mariha Speck, Nickolas Tanner, Terell and Catherine Finley, Najuree Finley, John Finley V, Destiney Johnson, and Marley Candler. Dakari also leaves behind numerous cousins, great-grandparents, great-great grandparents, and a loving extended family of great aunts and great uncles.

In remembrance of Dakari Marcellous Finley, his cherished presence and the joy he brought will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Calling hours will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
