Barbara F. (Lipford) DiSanza

Barbara Francis DiSanza (Lipford), passed away peacefully in the company of her loving husband at her home in Stow, OH on the morning of June 17, 2021 at the age of 83. Barb was born on December 13, 1937 in Akron, Ohio and was a proud graduate of Manchester High School, where she was a majorette with a love for language and grammar that she carried throughout her life.

Barb was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, known by all who had the privilege of meeting her as being the perfect balance of simplistic and sassy; she was quick to call you out, but would never let you leave without a hug. She was both a green thumb gardener and a capital culinarian; the only thing that matched the quality of her hostas was the quality of her cheesecake. She had a love and respect for the outdoors and most enjoyed long walks in the evening with her husband, Ed.

Barb's memory (and waffle recipe) will be carried on by Edmond (husband), Robert, Jeffrey, and Prince (grandsons and great-grandpup – respectively), Sandy (niece by title, daughter every other definition), Tim (son-in-law), sisters-in-law Yvonne and Linda (Steve) , and her nephews James, Robert, Antony,Steve and Adrian, and niece Erika.

She is reunited with Kathy Nadine Blair (daughter), Mary and Hildred Lipford (parents), Hildra Stark (sister), Richard DiSanza (brother-in-law), Pamela Gredicak (niece), and her fur-children, Buddy I and Buddy II.
