Alex Timothy Vilayseng

Alex Timothy Vilayseng was born to Kongseng Vilayseng and Sandra J. Crowe on November 29th, 1989, in Wadsworth, OH.

His Life was taken too soon at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday in the driveway outside of his home, in the 500 block of Hartman Street SE North Canton, OH.

Alex is survived by his Love Lai Lia Xiong, daughters Mia & Millie Vilayseng, brother Max Vilayseng, sister Taylor Vilayseng (Jimmy & Lola Ullman), father Kongseng (Thy) Vilayseng, mother-in-law Khou Yang Xiong, grandparents Linda & Ron Beech, Jim & Marilyn Crowe, aunts Tara Campbell (John) and Danielle Rankin, uncles Tim & Billy Crowe, Ounkham Vilayseng, sister- in-law Blair Vilayseng, cousins Lisa Ann Urban (Dan), Lauryn, Trista Mills, Carter, Brennan Crowe. Close friends and many more.

Life growing up for Alex wasn’t easy he had to learn fast. He learned in tough times what really mattered in life growing up and what he wanted for himself and family. He figured out that love, loyalty and respect would be a great starting point and that it would take him far. Out of those values he became polite, caring, and funny. He was just a person who would do anything for his friends, family, and even strangers who were in need and many more countless things.

Alex was always the life of the party, cracking jokes, making everyone smile and laugh. He just wanted everyone to be happy and to do good in life. Life really meant everything to him because of the endless possibilities that life could offer him.

Alex was so infatuated with how the world worked and how he could contribute his strengths and talents to it. He was a great athlete, artist, barber, brother, friend, son, dad, cousin, mechanic, great cook, freestyle rap you name it. He could do it or figure it out, he was anything under the sun and more.

He always would talk about people and how you should treat them to his close friends, siblings and kids. He really was compassionate and sensitive on how people should treat each other. He didn’t care what race, size, gender, poor or rich he treated you with the upmost respect.

Alex was so funny. He loved making everyone laugh, it was like watching a comedy show act every second with him, but when it needed to be serious, he could buckle down and make sure things were taken care of the right way. He was so proud and happy for having his own family that he could provide for his daughter’s Mia & Millie and the love of his life, Lai. Alex was the kind of father who would play with his kids nonstop even if he was tired and hurting, he always made time to spend with his daughters. He was the sweetest, kindest soul in the whole world and may his spirit and legacy live on within us. Alex will forever be missed but never forgotten. Rest in paradise, Alex. We love you.

Funeral services and calling hours will be held at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 2061 Wadsworth Rd., in Orrville on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Chuck Davis.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church and on Saturday 2 hours before the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
