William G. Davis, 93, went home to be with the Lord on June 27, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Jean, daughters Linda (Chuck) Agnew, Patricia (Milt) Long, Karen (Bill) Huber, granddaughters Heather (Rich), Amy (Ben), Jessica (Seth), Melissa (Chris), Shawn (Joe), notice a theme? He sure loved his girls, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, sister Wauneta (Don) Tedeschi, brother Gary (Iris) Davis, nephews, and a niece. He is preceded in death by parents William H and Hettie E Davis.

Funeral services will be held at Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, Ohio 44314 on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:00 am, followed by internment at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Road, Akron.  Calling hours will be on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and Wednesday from 10:00-11:00am.
