William R. "Bill" Handy, 75 passed away on November 16, 2024. William was born in Akron, OH on August 3, 1949, and lived there his entire life. He retired from the Summit County Engineers Maintenance Dept after 31 years of service in 2006. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran, member of American Legion Post 449 and a life member of Firestone V.F.W. Post 3383.

William is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Linda, daughter Pamela (Rich) Hendrix of Gainesville, FL, son Paul (Julie) Handy of Uniontown, OH, brother Richard (Leslie) Handy of Medina, OH, as well as 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Private services will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH.
