Susan A. Carr, 67, of Akron passed away August 31, 2017. She was preceded by parents, Robert and Bette Easton and brother, William "Bill" Easton. Susan leaves behind to grieve her passing husband, the love of her life, best friend and dedicated caregiver to the end, Eugene Carr; daughters, Heather Johnson, Wendy (Jim) Barber; grandchildren, Shayla Johnson (Jay), Dominic Barber, Danielle Barber; great-grandson, Heiden Johnson; sister-in-law, Jamie Easton; nephews, Josh Easton and Adam Easton (Melinda). An avid lover of animals, she leaves her furry friends, Shaggy, Zorro, Crybaby and Clawdia. The family extends a special thank you to the wonderful people from Heartland Hospice Kathy, Kami, Alisha, Paul, Ray and the the many others who helped keep Susan comfortable during her illness. Calling hours will be held at the Prentice-Conley Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. The family will have a private graveside service. Donations, if desired may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
