Sheila Pickelsimer, 67 of Akron passed away April 30, 2017. She was a member of City Church A/C, enjoyed cooking for people and loved Bingo. Sheila is preceded by her parents, Granville and Verla Sloan. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Wayne Pickelsimer; son, Matthew (Kara) Pickelsimer; daughter, Tara (Israel) Johnson; grandchildren, Austin, Cheyenne and Gabriella; sisters, Mary Ruby, Joyce Maione and Sallie Sloan; brothers, John Sloan and Ray (Nancy) Sloan, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Prentice-Conley Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Friday at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Ernie Kemppel. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
