Shane E. Matheney, 41, of Akron, passed away suddenly January 30, 2017. He was a good father and he loved his children. He is survived by his mom, Barbara (Don Miller) Zimmerman; daughter, Katelynn Stayrook; sons, Matthew and Shane "Shamus" Matheney; grandson, Braiden; sister, Mary Ritch; niece, ChaRee Ritch; uncles, Edwin "Butch" Winkelman and Chris Francesca and his son's mother, Angela Legg. A private family service has already been held.
