Sandra L Scullen, 82 of Akron passed away on January 7, 2022.  She was born on August 27, 1939, to William and Florence (Eischen) Russell.  She worked for 33 years for the federal government, retiring in 1995 from the Social Security Administration.  She was a member of Allenside Ladies Auxiliary, was an avid reader, liked to crochet and enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved dog Jett.

Sandra is preceded by her husband Richard Scullen, son Robert Valentine, brothers Michael Russell and William Russell and sisters Patricia Dearborn and Jo Ann Robson.  She is survived by sons Brian (Shelley) Morris of Uniontown, OH, Kevin (Stacy) Morris of Ft. Myers, FL, daughter Katherine Morris of Grande Prairie, Alberta Canada, grandchildren Sean Morris, Brandon Morris, Justin Morris, Mary (Keith) Krepps, Kristen Morris, Robert Buck, Jon Aylward, Jenise Aylward, Dawn Wykoff and Melissa Valentine and great-grandchildren Taylor Krepps, Dominick Pavlov, Dakota Wykoff, Skyler Wykoff, Dallas Wykoff, Devon Wykoff, Alexandria Valentine, Justice Valentine and Caleb Valentine.

Funeral services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Thursday at 11:00 am, officiated by Pastor David Haydu.  Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm.
