Ryan James Dossie, 6 of Akron passed away on March 19, 2021.  He loved to play, smile, laugh, jump around, wrestle, dance, and sing.  He thought he was in a music video when he sang and danced.  He loved Spiderman & Transformers.  He was shy when he first met someone, but he loved making new friends.

Ryan is preceded by his great-grandmother Marguerite Jackson, grandmothers Felicia Jackson-Dossie, Marie Goodrich and Barbara Coleman and cousin Ryan Hysell.  He will be dearly missed by his mom Lisa Goodrich (Kenneth Lipsey, Sr.), his dad Melvin Dossie Jr. (Tia Chaney), grandparents Jimmy Goodrich (Lisa), Melvin Dossie Sr. (Donna) and Jody Hollingsworth, siblings Malaysia Davis, Nyenye Davis, Ryannah Goodrich, Makayla Dossie, Aaliyah Massey, Amare Massey, Amiyah Massey, Kenneth Lipsey, Jr., and Melvin Dossie III, favorite cousin Tae Tae, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and godparents.

Funeral services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Dontel Wright.  Calling hours will be two hours before the service on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
