Ruth Ann Tomcsik, born March 18, 1942 passed away on December 13, 2025 in Akron, Ohio. She was born in Barberton, then was a lifelong resident of the Akron area.

Ruth was a devoted church member. She found joy in the simple pleasures of daily living, especially watching game shows and working on word puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, eleven of her siblings, her daughter Marlena I and sons Matthew and Gasper.  She is survived by her brother Alan and her children Vera, Theresa, Elsie (Emmett), Marlena (Charles), Jennifer (Daniel), Lisa (Keith) and Willie (Misty), plus many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cremation services were provided by Prentice Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
