Ruth Holm, 71 of Akron passed away on May 19, 2022.  She loved helping people, was always doing for others and was very friendly.  She loved going to the casino and playing cards at the Kenmore Community Center.  She attended The Sanctuary and The Church on the Boulevard.  She retired as a dietary aid from Western Reserve Academy.

Ruth is preceded by her parents Dolly and Elmer Burkhimer and grandson Sabastian Holm.  She is survived by her sons Lael Holm and Christian (Juanita) Holm, grandchildren Steven, Christian Jr and Destini, 4 great-grandchildren, brothers George Burkhimer and JR (Ruby) Burkhimer, sisters Anita Stevens, Betty Jett and Maryann Kovach and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Friday May 27, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Mike Freeman.  Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
