Robert D, "Buff" Lucas Jr, 67 of Salem passed away December 22, 2016. He was a Vietnam War veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired from MPI Labels in Sebring. He was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. He is preceded by his father Robert D Lucas Sr. Buff is survived by his wife of 46 years Connie (Akers) Lucas, mother Joyce J Lucas, daughters Paige Carmen (Peter) Stannard and Mandi R Lucas, grandchildren Aellyn, Asher and Boston, sisters Sharon (Lawrence) Orcena and Susan (Carl) Barker, and brothers Scott Lucas and Christopher Lucas. A memorial service will be held at the Prentice-Conley Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Thursday at 11:00 a.m., followed by inurnment at Greenlawn Memorial Park with military honors. Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
