Richard “Rich” Riddle lost a courageous 3-year battle with cancer on July 24, 2026. He was 80 years old.

Survived by many extended family members and lots of friends, he is also survived by his fiancé Terri Eck, brothers Donald (Rose) Riddle, Leroy (Bonnie) Riddle, Jack Riddle, Charlie Riddle and Michael (Joan) Riddle, sisters Evelyn (John) Beigh and Carol Mendenhall.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Akron on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
