Raymond Custer, 82 of Akron passed away on August 30, 2021.  He served two years in the U.S. Army and then served for 20 years in the Ohio Army National Guard.  He was a member of the South Akron Orioles Nest 167 and retired from Parker Hannifin after 37 years service

Ray is preceded by his parents David & Minta, wife Joanne, sisters Doris & Helen and brothers Bob & James.  He is survived by his son John, grandsons Landon and Ayden and brothers David, Harold and Glenn.

Inurnment with military honors will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Thursday at 1:15 pm. Please meet at the front gate at 1:00.  Family and friends will gather afterwards at the South Akron Orioles Nest 167, 2166 Manchester Rd., Akron from 3:30 to 6:30.
