Paul R. Adkins, 66, passed away on October 20, 2015. He was an Army veteran and worked as a corrections officer for the City of Akron. Paul was very family oriented and loved his grandkids. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Pat; as well as sons, Matt and Brian (Sarah); brother, Dewey; sister, Karene Miller; mother-in-law, Maxine Miller; aunt, Reable Charles; and grandchildren, Savannah and Christian. He will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service service will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Tuesday at 10 a.m., officiated by Pastor Roy Teague, followed by burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
