Patricia Timblin, 89 of Akron passed away June 16, 2026. She was born in Akron and grew up in Ellet, graduating in 1956. Pat volunteered in many organizations including the Akron Civic Theater Women’s Guild and Friends of Children’s Hospital. She was a member of Akron City Women’s Club, Order of the Eastern Star Legacy Chapter, PMA Rainbow Girls, Past District President Mother’s Club DeMolay, Ellet Alumni Assoc and Akron Area Board of Realtors.

Pat worked at The Merriman, was the owner of Western Staff Service, and as a realtor for 39 years. She liked to travel with her children, camping in 43 states. She enjoyed crafts including ceramics and stained glass and liked gardening.

Pat is preceded by her parents Russell & Vivian Timblin, grandmom Ellen Bealer, sons Donnie and Gregory, brother Ron Timblin, son-in-law Richard Attar and grandson Josh. She is survived by her sister Jackie (Fred) Knight, children John (Amy) Young, Vicki Young Attar, Jeff Stoffer, grandchildren Steve (Terri) Young, Paul Young, Abby Tolson, Dr. Taylor Attar, Stephanie (Doug) Pitts (+ baby Nolan), Robert Stoufer and Ryan Stouffer, great-grandchildren Kellen Young and Brynlee Young, sister-in-law Linda Timblin, and daughter-in-law Denise (Jim) Gaurrich. She was also special mom to Nickey Huber and Jodie Moorman.

Legacy Chapter #596 will be doing an Eastern Star Service on Tuesday, July 14th at 6:45 p.m. at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. Calling hours will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service.
