Orva M Cross, preceded in death by her beloved spouse Thomas E Cross, cherished parent to Robert Cross his wife Dawn Cross, Shelly Busson and her husband Ralph Busson and grandmother to Thomas J Cross, Jessica Underwood and her husband Jason Underwood, Autumn Cross, Ralph Busson Jr.,  Rebecca Busson, Wyatt Cross and great-grandchildren JJ  and Scarlett Underwood and Gracelynn and Donnie Cross and Justin Derenberger Jr. and  cherished friend to many, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024. Orva's gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and remarkable resilience touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born on December 1, 1949, in Spencer West Virginia, Orva was the daughter of the late Bessie and Patrick Price and her late brothers Jim Price and Charles Price, sisters Mary Webb, Tressie Blosser, Mildred Szitas, Leona Burton, Ethel Boggs, Anna Smith, Ruby Price, and Effie Nichols

She found immense joy in spending time with her family, whether exploring the great outdoors, sharing laughter around the dinner table, or simply enjoying quiet moments together at home. Her warmth, compassion, and unconditional love created a nurturing environment where all who entered felt welcomed and valued.

Orva's legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a profound impact on the lives of those she touched and she will be deeply missed by her loving family, dear friends, and countless others whose lives she enriched.

A celebration of Orva's life will be held on June 9, 2024, at Barberton Liedertafel, 191 2nd St NW, Barberton, OH 44203 from 1 pm to 4 pm.  All who knew and loved Orva are invited to join in honoring her memory and sharing cherished stories of her remarkable life.

Orva's light may have dimmed on Earth, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her legacy of love and kindness will endure for generations to come.
