Mary J Reed, 88 of Akron passed away on June 2, 2021.  She retired from the Fred Arbogast Co.  She attended Chapel of Prayer Baptist Church and she loved to read, listen to gospel music and spend time with her grandchildren.

Mary is preceded by her parents William Williamson and Kathleen Ogden, brothers Tom Williamson and Bill Williamson, daughter Susan Combs, son David Reed and grandson Bobby Allison.  She is survived by her daughters Kathleen (Dan) Drainer and Cindy Stewart (Mike Ewing), sons Frank Combs (Janie Gomez) and John (Donna) Combs, grandchildren Danny, Sandy, Christine, Brian, Jason and Scott, 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends an hour prior from 1:00 to 2:00.
