Mary L. Hidock, age 91, passed away on June 3, 2016. Mary was born April 12, 1925 in Greene County, Pennsylvania, the beloved daughter of Anthony and Teresa Torcassi. Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Teresa; her stepfather, Joseph Sacco; her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Claire Torcassi; her brother-in-law, Don Berube; her sister and brother-in-law, Clara and Al Statti; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Frances and Nick Daymut; and her loving husband of 60 years, John. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and John Tighe; her son and daughter-in-law, John and Carol Hidock; grandchildren, Jennifer, Megan, Haley and Ryan; sister, Rose Berube; and many beloved nephews and nieces, friends and family. She expressed her creative side as a cake decorator at Hiss Bakery in Barberton for 56 years. She was loving, radiantly warm and contagiously good-natured and she valued family and the pure enjoyment of life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2101 17th St. SW, officiated by Rev. Michael B. Smith, with burial at Lakewood Cemetery.
