Martha C Townsend, 62 of Akron joined her father in heaven on August 5, 2022.  She worked for 33 years at Lucky Shoes and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She loved the outdoors, swimming, music and her family.

She is preceded by her father Richard Kesti.  She is survived by her husband of 36 years Jeff, son Micah, mother Betty Kesti, sisters Sue (Dan) Logan, Lida (Rick) Lind and Ruth (Michael) Grimmett, brother Matt Kesti, several nieces and nephews, special friend Christine Brandon and her dog Rocky.

Funeral services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd.  on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11 am, officiated by Rev. Dr. Sandra Selby.  Calling hours will be on Friday from 5 to 7 pm.
