Marilyn Townsend, 73 of Akron passed away on June 21, 2021.  She graduated from Buchtel High School, attended the University of Akron and was active in the Phi Mu sorority until she was unable.  She worked and retired from K Mart in management.

Marilyn is preceded by her parents Clifford and Marilyn Townsend.  She is survived by her sister Suzanne (Chuck) Tabor, uncle David (Marilyn) Townsend, aunt Margaret Townsend, nephews Charles and Andrew and niece Tiffany.
