Obituary

Lee Lafferty Lee Lafferty, 88, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Akron, passed away June 23, 2015. Mr. Lafferty was born in Akron and had lived in Mesa for the last 18 years. He had worked at Ford Motor Co. as a tool & die maker. He was an Army veteran of World War II, was a member of the Mount Akra Masonic Lodge #680 and had been a member of The Chapel before moving to Mesa. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Norma. He is survived by son, Larry Lafferty; daughter, Patricia Fincham; daughter-in-law, Nancy Lafferty and grandson, Chad Lafferty. Funeral service will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steve Bucy officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 3383. Masonic service will be conducted by Mount Akra Lodge #680 Tue. at 6:30 p.m. Friends may call Tuesday, from 5 to 7 p.m. Donations, if desired may be made to Haven of Rest or .
