Keith Pettit of Kenmore, Ohio passed away after a short illness on Sunday, March 3rd 2019. Keith was born on the 27th of April 1951. He graduated from Kenmore High School and attended the University of Akron. Keith was a third generation owner operator of Pettit's Automotive Electric "Marathon" on Kenmore Blvd. Akron, Ohio. Keith was a history buff, an author, he loved his three pups. And he was also an avid fan of "Gone With The Wind".
Keith was preceded in death by parents Willis R. and Dorothy E Pettit. Grandparents: Willis G and Gladys Pettit and Ben and Nellie Weber. Keith is survived by his three pups, Lindy, Cindy and Lucy. He is also survived by brother Zac (Bonnie) Pettit, nieces Stacey (Kevin) Albanese, Kim Pettit (Matt Zeiner) and Cassie (Paul) Meeker, nephew Corey Pettit and two great nephews Massyn and Liam Meeker. Uncle Don Cadwallader, Cousin Connie Querry, her daughter Kim (Jim) Kohl, Cousin Cindy (Art) Berger their son Andrew, and Keith's many friends.
Services will be at the Prentice Funeral Home 1154 Kenmore Blvd. Akron, Ohio on Tuesday 12 March 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with services at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Jim Roma officiating.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Cleveland Clinic Akron General 9th Floor and 4th Floor ICU for the wonderful care they gave to Keith. A special thanks to Keith's dear friend Laurie Strauss, for all her support, kind words, and care that she gave to Keith's three pups during this difficult time.
