Kathy A. (McAnalley) Lindeman, 67 of Akron passed away on October 21, 2022. She grew up in Kenmore and graduated from Kenmore High School in 1973. She was a long-time member of Praise Chapel and she retired from Nelsen Corp after 23 years of service. She loved to go to casinos. She was known as grandma within Kenmore Youth Football and Cheerleaders for years. She volunteered in many ways at Praise Chapel and really enjoyed doing fundraisers for the Norton Safety Services Shop with a Cop Program and Toys For Tots. She was loved by all and never knew a stranger. God blessed her soul.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Devarn and Luella McAnalley, brothers Tommie McAnalley, Vernon McAnalley and Bobby Lewis. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Jay Lindeman, son Jesse Hill, daughter Amber (Jimmy) Kenneally, grandchildren Chelsie, Kaylee, Kaitlyn and James, great-grandson Braxton, brothers Dennis (Mary) McAnalley and Dallas (Ruth) McAnalley.
Funeral services will be at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Akron on Friday Oct. 28th at 6:00 pm officiated by Pastor Bob Shank. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. There will be a dinner immediately after the service at the VFW, 690 West Waterloo Rd, Akron Ohio 44314. Donations, if desired may be made to the family. The donations will be divided among her favorite non-profit organizations.
