Joyce M Donahue, 72, of Akron passed away May 11, 2016. Joyce loved to cook, camping, being a mother and grandmother and was a member of Eagle Ministries. She was the strong one in the family and was always there for everyone. Joyce was preceded by son, Donald Anderson and daughter, Deborah Holley. She is survived by husband of 26 years, Chuck; daughter, Tammy (Ronald) Smetts; grandchildren, Angela (John), Johnny (Nichole), Mandy (Mark) and Joseph (Mea); and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Sunday at 5 p.m. officiated by Angela Hayes. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m.
