Joshua Lee Spangler suddenly and unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on July 5th. Josh was born in Akron Ohio on August 2, 1993. Josh was charismatic, generous, strong, and loving, the life of the party and so much more. Josh was a son, a father, a brother, a man striving everyday for a better life. He never gave up even through all his hardships. Josh never let a day end without calling his mother. He loved spending time with family and friends clowning, joking around. He loved the beach and vacations, playing basketball, video games (Call of Duty) and watching football - especially the Browns. Josh got baptized and also received his GED.

Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents Hazel Brown, Enis Brown, niece Havein, nephew Carter and so many more beloved family and friends who will be there to welcome him into Heaven.

Josh is survived by his heart his mother Peggy Tiffner and daughter Kylie Addison Hill; also father Richard Spangler, girlfriend Stefani Whitmire; grandparents Sonny (Billy Joe) Spangler; uncles and aunts. Brothers and sisters Crystal (Pete) Tiffner, Billy (Crystal) Tiffner, Samantha (Ray Ray) Tiffner, Ricky (Kalee) Spangler, and Destiny (Micah) Spangler.

Nephews and nieces Brent (Kaile), Taylor, Danny, Lillian, Avaya, Jordan, Kiarah, RJ, Raylen, Remi, Rayne, Harley, Hanson, Huliky, Dino, Dwayne, Draco, Ariel, Kehlani, Riviere, Davinchi, Arriana, Annabella, Brent Jr, Adam, Corinthian, and Evander.

Calling Hours and Service will be held at Prentice Funeral Home 1154 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, Ohio, 44314 on July 14, 2022. Calling hours are from 5pm-7pm and Service begins at 7pm. After the Service, please join us as we gather at The Church on the Boulevard at 754 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, Ohio, 44314 to celebrate Josh's life with food, drink, family and friends.
