John Hutko TOGETHER AGAIN
John Hutko, 90 of Akron passed away February 20, 2017.
Born in Akron, he graduated from South High School and served three years in the Army Medical Corp during WWII. He served in North Africa, Belgium, France and Germany. Then he returned and went to the University of Akron on the GI bill. He worked as a medical technician at St. Thomas - where he met his wife of 52 years, Children's, and retired from Barberton Citizen's. After retirement he returned to work in the lab at AGMC. He also worked as a locksmith over the years.,
John is preceded by his wife, Naomi; and daughter, Jane Elizabeth Akers. He survived by his son, John (Enriqueta) Hutko; son-in-law, Dennis Akers and three grandchildren.
The family would like to thank ClearPath Hospice & Home Care for their care of John.
A memorial service will be held at the Prentice-Conley Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Saturday at 2 p.m., officiated by Don Bolich. Friends my call from 1 to 2 p.m.
