Janice M. Archie of Akron, Ohio passed away on June 1, 2016. She was born July 16, 1948. She worked at Newell Rubbermaid in Mogadore, Ohio for 14 years.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Maxine Dye and brother Chris Dye. She is survived by her children Loretta Beach (Rick) of Akron, Nick Clute (Marie) of Columbus and Kathy Clute of Akron, brothers Arnold of Akron, Richard (Vickie) of North Carolina, Terry and Michael of Ohio, sisters Patsy (Ralph) Bechter of Akron, Donna (Carl) Thompson of North Carolina, Sharon Simmons of North Carolina and Mary (Norman) Talbert of North Carolina. She also leaves grandkids Norman and Steven Beach of Kentucky, Sandy (Ted) Chrapko of Akron, Timothy Clute (Kaitlyn) of Akron, Nicky Clute III of Kentucky, Brandon Mann of Ohio, and Jeremy (Crystal) Penrod of Ohio, four great-grandchildren Ricky, Serenity, Carter and Teddy Jr., and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Monday at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Robert Webb, with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
