Janet Rae "Di" Kunce Janet Rae "Di" Kunce, 79, passed away July 11, 2015 at her residence, with her daughter by her side. She was born in Akron and was a life resident of the area. Janet was employed for many years for the former Clarkins Dept. Stores as head cashier. She was an avid Indians and Browns fan and had been the secretary for the ladies bowling league at Kenbowl for more than 25 years. Janet was preceded in death by parents, Ruth and James Fullerton; brother, James Myron Fullerton; husband, Jack D. Kunce Sr.; and sons, Aaron James and James Myron Kunce. She is survived by daughter, Deni Kunce; sister, Gloria (Jack) Slegus; nephew, Mark Slegus; nieces, Nicole Rae (Deron) McFarland and Danielle Rae (Josh) Yockey; grandnieces, Alexa, Mikayla and Rebecca Rae Yockey (her second generation namesake); her favorite dog "Boo-Boo" (the last gift from her son James); and special friends, Joann Sondles, Trish Boyd and Linda Mears. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, with Rev. Michael Somerville officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
