Obituary

Homer M Gaugler, 89, passed away on March 30, 2018 at Pebble Creek. He was born to Roy and Metha (Snyder) Gaugler on February 25, 1929 in Medina County. He graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1947. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from F.C. Machine & Tool. He loved the Cleveland Indians and enjoyed traveling with Caroline. Homer was preceded by his beloved wife, Caroline (Davis) Gaugler; siblings, Irene (Alfred) Motzko, Ford (Jane) and Weldon; stepson, William Randolph and brother-in-law Alvin Yoder. He is survived by his sister, Lois Yoder; brother, Merle (Lois); stepdaughter, Arlene Randolph; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Wednesday at 1 p.m., followed by burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 11 to 1 p.m. Donations, if desired may be made to Hope United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
