Glada Inez Wickline "Susie", 100 years of age, passed on Sunday March 19, 2023.  She was born September 27, 1922, in Sissonville, WV to the late Alpheus Reynolds and Cora Monk.  She was the youngest of five daughters, four who preceded her in death.  Glada married the late Harry Edward Wickline at the age of 21.  They moved in their newly built home in the Kenmore neighborhood of Akron, Ohio.  The couple welcomed three children: Martha (Dr. William) Lee, Ed (Kathy Johnson) Wickline and Teresa (Ronald) Stout.  Those children produced four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  Over the years she was employed by Lawson's, Fazio's and the U.S. Postal Service.  She enjoyed baking, activities with her children and spending time with her best friend the late Wanda Harrison. Her love and encouraging spirit will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Akron on Friday at 6 pm officiated by Deacon Robin Adair. Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 pm.
