Gisela Greathouse, 82, of Akron passed away on August 11, 2016. She was born Nov. 1, 1933 in Berlin, Germany. She lived on 17th St. SW in Kenmore for over 50 years. She retired from J C Penney at Rolling Acres Mall. She loved reading, traveling and exercising. Gisela was preceded by her parents, Frieda and Karl Vick. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold; sons, Gerald (Cindy) and Gregory (Lissa Wolfe); grandchildren, John and Anjelika; great-grandchildren, Macy and Samuel; and sister, Ursula (Bud) Bauman. Funeral service will be held at the Prentice-Conley Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Monday, August 15th at 4 p.m., officiated by Rev. Larry Knight. Family and friends may visit and pay their last respects from 2 to 4 p.m. Private burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. 330-753-7721
