Gerald Lee Roan Jr., 3 years old of Akron passed away on August 3, 2024. He loved his colors, reading, drawing and painting. He loved to play with his fire trucks, his tablet and his Paw Patrol sets. He was kind to everyone he met. He touched so many hearts. He spread so much love and joy. His giggle would touch everyone's heart.

Gerald is preceded by his grandmas Diane Ratcliff and Doris Roan and grandpa James Roan.  He will be dearly missed by his loving parents Gerald Sr. and Desire Roan, grandpa Rodney Ratcliff, aunts & uncles Jevon Lyons, Tyrone Lyons, Kevin (Josie) Lyons, Jeremy Lyons, Shirley Taylor, Kimberly Roan and Alvin Roan and many cousins.

Calling hours will be at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Funeral services will be on Friday August 16, 2024, at Burning Bush Church, 131 S. High St. at 10:30 am officiated by Roger Ratcliff.
