Gene Austin, 85 of Kenmore, was born on June 19, 1939, and passed away on February 19, 2025.  The first half of his working career he drove a truck for the Teamsters for many years, and the second half he painted houses.  He loved Harleys and going to the racetrack.  His grandchildren were his whole world, there's nothing he wouldn't do for them.

Gene is preceded by his parents Glen and Mary, brother Dave, sister Rita and grandson Jason. He is survived by his daughters Lisa (Mike) Mazzagatti and April (John) Wallis, grandchildren Christopher, Jonathon, Chloe and Michael, brother Johnny (Carol), sister Marsha Perrine and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Tuesday, February 25th from 5 to 7 pm at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd.  Funeral services will be  on Wednesday, February 26th  at 11 am, followed by burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
