Edward "Eddie" Wolfe, Sr 79 of Akron went to sleep peacefully on October 19, 2021. He enjoyed working on his cars and trucks, maintaining a beautiful home and well manicured yard and spending time with his Family. He was a graduate of Hower High School in 1960.  He was an Army Veteran and retired from General Motors. Eddie is preceded in death by Parents Edward and Letha Wolfe, sisters Brenda Wolfe, Gladys Reynolds and brother David Wolfe.  He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Mary Lou Wolfe, children Tammy Davis (James Wable), Kimberly Corrigan (Joseph Painter), Mary Lou (Matthew) Horning and Edward Wolfe Jr., many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Paul (Kay) Wolfe and several Friends, Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.  Calling hours will be on Friday from 5 to 7 pm.
