Donna L. McCarty, 92, of Brimfield, passed away on July 3, 2026. Donna retired as a florist from Tallmadge Florist after many years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of Brimfield Faith United Methodist Church and was also a member of Mogadore Moose Lodge #1082.

Donna loved swimming, waterskiing, gardening, traveling, and above all, spending time with her family. Her home was the gathering place for holidays, birthdays, and family celebrations, where everyone was always welcomed with love. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she loved creating cherished memories and traditions that her family will carry with them always. Her love of floral design, knitting, and crocheting was evident throughout her home, reflecting the creativity and care she shared with everyone around her.

Donna was the heart and matriarch of her family. Her strength, resilience, and unwavering love provided comfort and guidance throughout life. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, generosity, and family traditions that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce McCarty; her brother, Norman (Mildred) Eneix; and her sister, Beatrice (Dave) Wright.

Donna is survived by her children, Karen (Roger) Young, Dave (Jean) McCarty, and Laureen (Gregory) Grund; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.
