Donna (Harbarger) Haines Donna passed away at Barberton Hospital surrounded by her family on February 25, 2015. She was born in Elliotsville, Pa. on February 4, 1938. Donna's greatest joy was her grandchildren and family. She was soft spoken and loved to tell stories about her young life in Pennsylvania. She entertained everyone with her stories of "chinbone". She was preceded by her parents, Asa and Irene Harbarger; brothers, Tommy and Larry; and sister, Sharon. She is survived by her children, Roger (Jeanne) Walker, Timmy Walker and Valorie Oaks; grandchildren, Chris, Amanda, Shawn, Jamie, Mathew, Chasity, Shane and nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (Don), Betty (Tom), Joyce, Emily, Wanda (Bubby), Rena (Joe), Frances, Darlene and Vivian; brother, Eugene "Scrooge"; and her very special friend, Billy Newman. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., officiated by Rev. Linda Somerville. Friends may call 3 to 6 p.m. To Those I Love When I am gone, just release me, let me go, so I can move into my afterglow. You must not tie me down with tears. Let's be happy we had so many years. I gave you my love, you can only guess how much you gave me in happiness. I thank you for the love you have shown, but now it's time I traveled on alone. Grieve for me awhile, if you must. Then let your grief be comforted with trust. It's only for awhile we must part, so Bless the memories with your heart and then when you come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home!"
From, Donna
