Don H. Miller Sr. of Akron died at home among family on Wednesday, December 22. Born and raised in Barberton, he had many hobbies including model boat racing, pipe rail buggies and NASCAR. He enjoyed spending time with his family and selflessly cared for Kay, his beloved wife of 49 years who preceded him in death in 2014.  He was an army veteran, retired Akron City Animal Control Warden, a 50 year member of The Mason's Victory Lodge #649 in Kenmore, and a long standing member of the FOP Lodge #7.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Zimmerman-Miller, sons Don Miller Jr. (Jennifer) and William Prosser, daughter Jodi Dillard (Tom), sister Betty Cordier (Jim), brother Bob Marquis (Karen), and grandkids Claudia Dillard and Ian Dillard (Emma).

A service will be held in the spring for friends and family.
