Dick Mays Dick Mays, 65, of Akron passed away March 5, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Dick was born in Point Marion, PA, and lived most of his life in Akron. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Kenmore Class of '67 Breakfast Club and he loved classic Mopars. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Mays and Irene Mays; and sister, Judy McCoy. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ellen; son, Craig (Angie); daughter, Kim Herrick; sister, Beverly Hylton; and his beloved grandchildren, Darby, Aiden and Avarie. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. from 6 to 8 p.m. The family requests donations to the or ASPCA.
