Diana L. Borders Diana L. Borders, 61, of Barberton, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2015 after a long illness. She was born March 3, 1954 to Elmer and Magalene Adkins who preceded her in death. Diana married Steven Borders on December 21, 1970 who also went home to be with the Lord and two sisters, Wanda Williams, Gail Gay and baby brother Rickey preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Steve (Julie) Borders, Tina (Barry) Rouse, both of Barberton; brothers, Johney of Barberton, Michael (Lois) of Akron; and sister, Mary (Larry) Hennon of Akron. She also leaves her grandchildren, Shyloh, Chloe, Stephen (Megan), Jamie (Joe), Ashley, Christina and Joshua, and Anna; great-grandchildren, Reece Hython and Claire Rouse; her friend and brother-in-law, Bob Williams; special cousin and best friend, Karene Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Calling hours were Thursday at 6 p.m. at True Vine Old Regular Baptist Church, 7982 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd. in Clinton, Ohio. Funeral service will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at the church, officiated by Elder Dennis Elkins, with burial to follow at Clinton Cemetery.
