Dennis Ray Swain Sr, 73 passed away on January 20, 2025. Dennis was born on March 24, 1951 in Portage Lakes where he was a lifetime resident. He retired after 41 years as a Boilermaker, with 30 of those years at Babcock & Wilcox. His greatest passions in life were fishing Lake Erie for Walleye and his family. He will always be cherished for the countless memories he leaves behind and his radiant smile and infectious laughter. He will Never be forgotten for the love he shared and showed for all his family & friends. He is survived by his loved ones; wife of 57 years Michelle "Mickie" Swain, son Joe Swain (Chastity), daughter Shannon Cornell (Randy), daughter-in-law Morgan, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, brother Rich Swain (Janis) and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by sons, Dennis Ray Swain Jr., Michael James Swain, parents Paul Swain Sr. and Betty Swain.; brothers Terry Swain Sr. and Paul Swain Jr.
