Dennis R. Swain, Jr., 52 of Massillon, formerly of Portage Lakes passed away on May 4, 2021.  He grew up in Coventry and graduated in 1986.  He got an associate degree from Stark State and was in the U.S. Army from 1992 - 1996.  He was currently employed by Marc's and was a member of the Sons & Daughters of Herman Club in Massillon.  He was a people person and he was always happy and in a good mood.

Dennis is preceded by his grandparents Marlene Hale and Paul & Betty Swain and brother Michael Swain.  He is survived by his parents Dennis & Mickey Swain, wife Nancy (PRQ) Swain, fiance Morgan Edwards (aka redneck princess), brother Joseph (Chastity) Swain, sister Shannon Cornell (Randy), daughters Samantha, Shayna, Lexi, Krystal, Kristine, Cita, Mekenzie and Courtney, grandchildren Timothy, Lily, Ella and Sophia and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Akron on Monday May 10th at 7:00 p.m.  Military honors will be provided by VFW #3383.  Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
