David M. Spear, 77 of Hudson passed away on April 20, 2024.  He was born in South Dakota, and he loved the farm and animals. He had two brothers and nine sisters. He served in the U. S. Navy for 30 years and loved every minute of it. After the Navy he still travelled by working as a truck driver. He loved spending time with his grandkids and beloved dog Ivy. He loved the outdoors, bowling and playing cards.  He was a fun-loving person that made everyone laugh.

David is preceded by his parents Carroll and Phyllis Spear and brother Mike Spear. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Sandi Spear, children David (Megan) Spear, Jason (Priscilla) Spear, Abbie Miller and Angie (Tim) Wilkinson, grandchildren Emma, Megan (Zach), Jesse (Sam), Kylie, Tyler, Dominick, Devaughn, Jordan, Cameron, Avery, Logan and Hunter, great-grandchildren Wren, Blake and Charlie, brothers-in-law Jimmy & Danny Walker, 9 sisters, 1 brother and dozens of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 7:00 pm, officiated by Danny Walker. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
