David R. Buchanan David R. Buchanan, 70, passed away February 7, 2015. He was born August 12th 1944 and lived in Akron his whole life. He went home peacefully surrounded by his entire family and friends. David was a loving father, brother, grandpa and our best friend. He loved his lottery tickets, his Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. He is survived by his children, Sandra, Tammy Scott and Christy; brother, Dennis Buchanan; sister, Janet Harte; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and so many friends. He was preceded in death by father, Clifford Buchanan; mother, Norma Buchanan; and brother, Ronnie. He was loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Thursday at 7 p.m., with Pastor Dennis Buchanan officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m.
