On Monday, October 4, 2021. Darlene L. Johnson (Barnett),72. went to be with her husband.  She is survived by her children: Ronda Metz, Ronald Johnson Jr, Michele Johnson, Eric Johnson, Margo (Michael) Lemke and James Johnson, 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren, sister Diane Szittai, brother Richard Barnett II and many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded by her husband of 42 years, Ronald Johnson; infant son Justin Johnson, her parents: Richard and Maxine Barnett, granddaughters, Danielle Johnson, Amanda Miller and Brittany Metz

Darlene previously worked at Terrace Gardens and Topps Grocery store.  Darlene enjoyed thrift shopping, dining out with friends and family, and spending time with her grandkids.

A Memorial Service will be held at Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Friends may call from 5 to 6 pm.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Darlene's name to the funeral home.  The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their care and compassion.
